Little Joy
One look at the album cover and I knew how this album would sound. There’s a mellow laziness to these little pop songs that is irresistable. It’s music from Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti – but there’s only maybe one song with any hint of that band in it. Mostly there are cute little acoustic pop tunes that make you feel like you’re in an old French film. Bandmate Binki Shapiro adds some beautiful vocals in Portugese that really accentuate the beach-front laziness of the whole thing.
